“After three heart surgeries and other procedures I was left with an extreme case of Costochondritis Pain every day, The smallest movement caused intense pain that brought me to tears. I tried pain management, It was not helpful, In fact I was left swollen and bruised. My rheumatologist recommended Nina. She was a life saver. We worked together for a long time and my quality of life improved so much I was able to start traveling and doing all the things that in the past were impossible to even comprehend, I am no longer sitting on the sidelines watching life pass me, I now participate and have skills that I learned through working with Nina that are available to me at any time.”

“I thought life as I knew it was over. I was only 25, a newlywed and just starting my career. Suddenly I would be gripped with spasms and pain in my muscles that often caused me to fall. Eating became a torture with food not digesting the way it should and I would become dizzy, nauseous and many times fainted. It took years to get a diagnosis for this combination of symptoms, Ehlers Danlos syndrome. Depression hit hard. I started to see Dr. Frankel who told me straight out that I would be okay, that the life I wanted, children, career and joy would happen, I thought she was wrong. How could that be possible? The work was not easy. At times I wanted to give up, and I am so glad I did not. Today I have my work, a beautiful little girl and a loving husband. Dr. Frankel did not let me give up.”
